Romantic Scandinavian design. Lodge rooms include a Scandinavian breakfast. All rooms have a small refrigerator, hair dryer and coffee maker. All rooms are clad in wood with warm rustic tones, pine and hickory furniture and include a DVD player. Lodge amenities include a full service lakeside dining room, lakeside indoor pool, sauna and hot tub. Outdoors, guests enjoy campfires, hiking trails, rock beaches, free use of canoes, snowshoes and much more.

All main lodge rooms have expansive views of Lake Superior. Each room has a North woods/Scandinavian style with extensive use of wood and warm cozy fabrics. Our furniture is hand crafted from pine and hickory. All rooms include a coffee maker and refrigerator. Some rooms with fireplaces or Jacuzzis include a microwave.

Main lodge guests enjoy a free Scandinavian breakfast including herring, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, hot cereal, bread, tomatoes, coffee, and juice.

These beautiful cottages, with cozy Northwood’s furnishings, are perfect for families and small group privacy. Each has a full kitchen, fireplace in living room, decks to enjoy the lake air and most have Jacuzzis. Some cottages are placed near the lodge, others are set in the birch and pines with a separate indoor pool and sauna building. Cottages are grouped in small clusters around the 150 acre preserve Our cottages are very cozy and have amazing lake views Cottages have full kitchens and fireplaces Some rooms have fireplaces.

Cottages at Cove Point Lodge are deluxe with two bedrooms, two baths, Jacuzzi, fireplace, deck, and a kitchen complete with appliances and cookware. Each unit has extensive ceramic, wood and carpeted floors along with cozy and comfortable furnishings. Each cottage has wood trim throughout.

The cottages are designed to accommodate a maximum of four people. All cottages are housekeeping (all linens and kitchen utensils are provided) No daily linen or cleaning service is provided.

Breakfast at the main lodge is NOT included in the rates quoted. All Cottages are no smoking and no pets are allowed.

Details:

• Two night minimum stay on week-ends.
• All rates are quoted double occupancy for lodge and quad occupancy for cottages
• $12.00 for each additional person per day
• Only 1 discount plan/special package applies per visit
• Major credit cards are accepted
• One night deposit required
• 14 days advance notice on all cancellations
• Check in is 4:00 PM and Check out is 11:00 AM
• Breakfast is included for main lodge guests only
  • Breakfast is not included for Cottage guests
  • Breakfast tokens for cottage guests can be purchased for $6.00 per person at the front desk
• If a guest elects to violate our no smoking policy and/or no pets policy in rooms or cottages a MINIMUM $100 fee per day will be added to the guest bill for cleaning and supplies.

Cove Point rates are effective February 2009 . Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are subject to 6.5% Minnesota sales tax and 4% Minnesota resort fee. Cottage rates include up to four people. Lodge rooms two people. Additional persons are $12 each. Minimum stay may be required. Holidays are considered ‘Peak Season Weekend Rates’, see other side for details. Cove Point Lodge and cottages are entirely smoke free and no pets, please. Thank you.
