Our cottage certification program is unique and it is specifically designed to help make sure our guests know in advance exactly what to expect when they arrive at Cove Point Lodge.
Cove Side Cottages
This group of four cottages is nestled in the woods adjacent to the main lodge. The cottages are located in the cove and they have a wonderful view of the lake. These cottages are closest to the main lodge yet they have a private and comfortable sense of isolation.
Ridgeline Lake View Cottages
These cottages are deluxe, one of a kind properties and are a mere three-minute walk from the main lodge. These cottages sit on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior and feature a large covered deck that provides for outstanding views of the lake, cove and Apostle Islands in the distance.
Blacklock Sanctuary Cottage
This cottage is located just 3 miles from the Lodge next to Historic Split Rock State Park. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath, loft, kitchen and fireplace cottage is very secluded. An extremely private setting on Lake Superior.
WindSong Cottages
These cottages are located just to the North of the main lodge-about a five-minute walk. WindSong Cottages have their own play areas, direct access to the bike trail, walking paths and expansive views of the lake.
Fjord Village
The newest addition to the Cove Point family. These cottages are located a few steps North of the main lodge and they are located on Lake Superior. The cottages are deluxe with 2-3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a Jacuzzi tub, extensive use of tile , wood and granite. The cottages all feature extra large windows in order to provide an expansive view of the lake. All cottages have three flat panel televisions. We are on site all the time, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. If you have a concern, we are there.
- HELP NOW. All of our cottages are within a couple of minutes of the main lodge. If the key does not work, or the heating system is too complicated or the plumbing system causes an issue, we are available 24 hours a day. We are on site, not 250 miles away.
- CREDIT CARD SECURITY. When you give us your credit card you can be sure that everything is safe, secure and private. And most important, you will never be asked to pay 100% in advance when you book with us.
- EVERYTHING WORKS. When you arrive, your key will work and so will the heat, and the remote TV. If not, within 5 minutes we will have it resolved. You do not have to worry that your first vacation day is taken up with cottage related issues.
- ALL RENTALS INCLUDE AMENITIES. All guests who rent through Cove Point Lodge are given exclusive use of our pool, sauna, hot tub, kayaks, canoes and campfires. Cottages not rented through Cove Point Lodge do not have these amenities.
- OUR COTTAGES ARE RATED AND CERTIFIED. All Cove Point cottages are rated so you know what you are getting. All of our cottages are rated from 1 to 4 stars for access to Lake Superior, proximity to Lake Superior, proximity to Cove Point Lodge and privacy.
- OUR COTTAGES MEET STANDARDS. Every cottage in our program needs to meet tough standards including linen, furniture, cozy feel, furniture that is in good condition, mattress that are comfortable and electronics that work. Every year we put each of our cottages through an extensive checklist to make sure that we can meet guest expectations.
- WE ARE AVAILABLE. Finally, you can rest assured that your cottage fits our high standards, and we provide peace of mind that your vacation time will not be wasted trying to get instructions about plumbing and security systems from owners that are located hundreds of miles away.
