Nestled next to Lake Superior on the North Shore and overlooking a unique natural cove with a spectacular ledge rock point, you find the tranquil and picturesque setting of Cove Point Lodge. This is a private place, surrounded by 150 acres of woods, rocks, and sweeping views of grand Lake Superior - A truly romantic getaway.

Cove Point Lodge is a full service North Shore lodging facility where all the rooms face Lake Superior. At our Scandinavian style lodge you will find lake view rooms, a pool, hot tub and sauna along with an intimate dining room, cozy great hall fireplace and sitting area. We have over a dozen different room layouts and even though the lodge is relatively small with only 45 rooms, we have a style just for you.

We also have several deluxe cottages that include 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, deluxe kitchen, wood burning fireplace, Jacuzzi bath, top-notch furnishings, wood floors, ceramic tile, and wood clad interiors.

Cove Point Lodge is at the center of North Shore activity. Just outside our door are the Superior Hiking Trail and the Gitchi-Gami Bike Trail that takes you to Split Rock Lighthouse or to the quaint village of Beaver Bay. We offer free use of our canoes and snowshoes. Golfing is a few minutes away and so are all the major North Shore State Parks.

Our lodge is secluded from the highway and as close to Lake Superior as you can imagine. We look forward to serving you at our gorgeous setting.

Located 50 miles north of Duluth just past Split Rock Lighthouse.
